Young Scientist Award contest for Oral and Poster presentations

A Young Scientist Award contest, aiming to foster the excitement of younger colleagues in presenting their work in the form of an oral or poster presentation is going to be held in the framework of the COMECAP 2016 conference. It is envisaged that they will be given two (2) awards for oral presentations and two (2) awards for posters.

Criteria for Application:

  1. Eligible for the application of the Young Scientist Award are Early Career Scientists. An Early Career Scientist (ECS) is an undergraduate or postgraduate (Masters/PhD) student or a scientist, who has received his or her highest degree (BSc, MSc, or PhD) within the past five (5) years.

  2. Young scientist authors that they are interested in participating in the contest of Young Scientist Award for either oral or poster presentation are kindly requested to register by sending a notification email to the Organising Committee. Contact details: Prodromos Zanis (

Evaluation Committee: The award selection will be based on an evaluation of both the scientific content and presentation quality by a committee of evaluators appointed by the Organising Committee.
